Soma Integration for Baraza Yoga

€119.00Price

The first Baraza Yoga Studio signature mala is shaped by materials that have carried spiritual meaning for centuries. Its beads combine the warm glow of Baltic Amber and the natural lightness of Bamboo, echoing both ancient practice and the serene atmosphere of Baraza’s interiors.

Amber: the “Sun Stone” of old traditions

Across Europe and along the ancient trade routes, amber was revered as a living piece of sunlight—tree resin that transformed over millions of years into a gem associated with protection, clarity, and vitality. In spiritual traditions, amber was believed to hold warmth, attract good energy, and steady the emotions.

Bamboo: the original material of Buddhist prayer beads

Bamboo has long been used in Buddhist and Zen traditions for making japamala beads because of its symbolic qualities: flexibility and resilience, hollow openness (a metaphor for the open mind), lightness that carries breath rather than weight. In monasteries, bamboo malas were preferred for everyday practice because they reminded practitioners that simplicity is strength—and that growth comes from being both grounded and adaptable.

The Pendant: a luminous reminder of inner clarity

The gold-plated silver pendant with mother of pearl brings a soft, iridescent glow, like light reflected on calm water. It symbolizes inner truth, intuition, and the quiet reflections that arise during practice.

Together, these elements form a mala that feels both ancient and modern. It is warm but light, powerful yet subtle—just like the atmosphere within Baraza’s stone arches and soft natural spaces.
